Introduction to RFID
"RFID, also known as radio frequency identification, is a technology that uses radio waves to transmit digital data. In other words, RFID is a type of non-contact automatic identification technology. Currently, the most common applications of RFID include but not limited to logistics, retail, library, medical, food, transportation, access control, etc."
"To apply RFID technology in different industries, three main parts that must be integrated and used. The first part is the RFID tag, which is used to attach or embed on objects. The second part is an RFID reader. The usage of reader is to emit electromagnetic waves and received signal returned by the tag. Last but not least, an application system that can interpret, analyse, and use the data stored in the RFID tag."
